In today’s episode, I chat with Amanda (AJ) from AJ Harrington Photographer about why she started her business, and her journey into being an entrepreneur.

Although AJ has a degree in Exploration Geophysics and worked in oil and gas industry for 10 years, after having her daughter she wasn’t so keen to commute to the city every day.  Contemplating her next move, she had her light bulb moment while chatting with a friend about what she loves to do in her spare time. You might be shocked by the consistency of AJ when you hear what she did every day for the 3 years prior to starting her business. 

We chat about the challenges we face as women when running a service based business and putting ourselves out there. We both agree it’s a big thing to show your face but for AJ it’s all about making you feel comfortable.
